Welcome to Sharon Springs, New York

Volunteers are truly the heartbeat of the small town rural community – and that is exemplified in Sharon Springs, New York.  Some are lifelong residents and some are new to the community, but they all share the giving ethic of small-town neighbors.  Whether serving in public office, awakening in wee hours to extinguish a fire, organizing a community carnival or hosting a community party, volunteers create quality of life.  This website is dedicated to the many volunteer organizations in Sharon Springs.  This site offers its visitors meeting information, news about the many organizations and a Community Calendar showing just how much there is to do.  Please feel free to join a club or simply support one by attending their events and fundraisers.
